COLORADO WINS TWO NATIONAL IT AWARDS, PLUS NAMED FINALIST FOR A THIRD October 2015 The Governor’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) is pleased to announce that Colorado was recognized at the2015 NASCIO State IT Recognition Awards with two winners and one finalist in three categories. The state won in the Cybersecurity category for its multi-year security strategy, Secure Colorado, and in the Cross Boundary Collaboration and Partnerships category for its Universal Application. Colorado was also named a finalist for the state’s PEAKHealth Mobile Application.
COLORADO WINS FOUR NATIONAL AWARDS FOR IT LEADERSHIP & PROJECTS
Monica Coughlin, Chief Strategy Officer with OIT won the Golden Gov: State Executive of the Year 2015 award for her leadership in IT economic development. State Representative Max Tyler won the State Leadership Award 2015 for his continued support of IT strategies in Colorado. Additionally, OIT was awarded State IT Program of the Year 2015 for two projects: the Department of Revenue Infrastructure Modernization Initiative and last year’s Program Eligibility & Application Kit (PEAK) Enhancements.
COLORADO NAMED 2015 IGNITING INNOVATION WINNER
The Governor’s Office of Information Technology received another prestigious award this week for its work to make Real Time Eligibility a reality for Coloradans applying for Medicaid -- chosen as ACT-IAT's 2015 Igniting Innovation Incubator.
Finalists were selected from a diverse pool of more than 100 solutions, tools, services, and programs developed by government and industry leaders to address government's biggest IT challenges.

The award spotlights technology and business leaders from a broad range of organizations who effectively use information technology to improve their company’s business performance. The list of honorees will be published in a special issue of Computerworld’s Digital Magazine in March 2015.
