Meet virtually with your remote coworkers and customers. Interact face-to-face while saving time and money on travel, all in the convenience of your Google suite. It’s as easy as starting a “chat” or opening your calendar event. To get a step-by-step tutorial on how to use Google Hangouts, watch this new video from our Google Operations team. Use the OIT Customer Service Portal to Get What You Need
One-stop-shop to request IT service, join forums, track changes, and access IT training 

If you haven’t already checked out OIT’s Customer Service Portal, you may find it quite useful! For those who prefer a self-service option, this is the most efficient way to submit and check the status of a Service Desk ticket, communicate in IT forums, and access OIT’s purchase catalog. As the Portal continues to expand, we will share new enhancements that make it even easier to do business with OIT. Watch this step-by-step video on how to use the Customer Service Portal. If you’re a first time user, there is a link on the landing page to help you set up an account. If you’ve forgotten your password, click the “forgot password” link on the login screen.

Your Role in Keeping Colorado Safe from Hackers
Learn what you need to know to protect the State of Colorado

Each of us has a duty to protect state assets, which is why each year state employees are required to complete the annual Information Security Statewide Training. Please look for this mandatory training link in your inbox in late summer and be sure to complete it in a timely manner so that you are in compliance with state policies. The web-based course you’ll be asked to complete is designed to: (1) educate state employees on protecting state assets and information; (2) help you identify IT security risks and threats; and (3) reinforce that IT security in Colorado state government is everyone's responsibility. In short, this training arms state employees with the tools they can use to protect state data and IT systems. Please also take note that the Statewide IT Security Policies that apply to all state employees have recently been updated.

OIT’s Playbook is our annual strategic roadmap. It provides our customers, employees, and vendor partners with a guide for the future, linking our core mission, vision and values to our strategies and goals. Through organizational transparency and straight-forward communications, OIT is creating a culture of accountability, shared expectations and trust. This Playbook provides direction and explanation into who we are, where we hope to be, and how we are getting there as an organization and the IT leader for the state.
